A Little Update…

I am planning to add a few human stories into the novel so that readers may be able to relate directly to the characters. The Christish characters are meant to be the “ideal” humans in the sense that they are much more intelligent, while the human characters will be more like us, constantly seeking who they are in this lonely universe and looking for a deeper meaning of life through friendship and intimacy. The world has not changed much since the 19th century when the U.K. ruled over the planet, with the U.S. being a smooth continuation and successor in the 20th and possibly the 21st. The former British colonies still cherish the haute couture of the English culture, although they all fought for independence and couldn’t afford to be second-class citizens. The West will remain strong for at least one more century.

China is slowing down, Russia is not going anywhere, and Japan is still aligning with the West. The East is not seeing any hope yet, not to mention their political tendency toward centralized power, which puts them on the moral lose ground. While a revolution in China will be a definitive game changer, it is not wise at this point. The Chinese people have to change for sure, so as to put more pressure on their government.

I will be on a 2-week summer vacation soon, in the midst of a busy schedule. If I happen to be quiet for another 2 months, don’t worry, because it usually means that I am working on something more meaningful than a novel or a blog. That’s all.

About Run Song

Run Song (宋闰) is my pen name for the Moments of Poetry, a collection of poems about the greatest moments of life. If photography captures the greatest moments of life, poetry is the life behind them.
