Foreigners from around the world love Xi Dada! What a surprise! It’s such an important piece of news that the video actually gets posted on People’s Daily. Definitely news-worthy. I don’t think these admirers of Xi Dada are as fake or forced as Amy puts it ( In any case, if people love Obama, it’s not news-worthy; however, if people love Xi Dada, then it’s news-worthy. That’s the message from People’s Daily, a logic seemingly quite easy to grasp even for a 3-year-old. Plus, People’s Daily seems honest enough about the original English message, without any attempt to edit it away, except for a somewhat dishonest translation in Chinese, assuming those watching the video are not good enough at English to tell the discrepancy. Well, if you scroll to the bottom of the news page I cited a few sentences ago, you will read the guy who had bought a book of Xi Dada never actually read it, as he would actually love to read it. In Chinese, it reads instead: “I love very much reading that book.” How adorable! I am pretty sure that those working at People’s Daily are proficient enough in English so as not to make this type of mistakes.

In any case, I like the news about stealth missiles better ( It looks more believable when the American government sucks it up to China instead of some unknown ordinary people admiring Xi Dada. I know the U.S. is playing a psychological war against Russia by alienating Putin and his government and telling the world that Russia is now nothing, thanks to Obama’s diplomatic strategy to answer the Ukraine crisis a year ago. It’s just unfortunate that it feels more like America downgrading itself to the rank of China on military terms. Fortunately, most Chinese people are not buying it. They KNOW China is not that strong yet. Maybe the U.S. hopes that the rest of the world are dumb enough to believe that China is now a formidable opponent of America. Well, believable is always good.

You can google the news about stealth missiles and the previously popular Advanced Hypersonic Weaponry, just to see if the U.S. is painting a believable picture of a strong China in the new arms races. Of course, I believe that Russia is now past and China is the future to justify American military upgrades. How dear! I LOVE OBAMA!
