The Mammalian Way

It’s more blessed to give than to receive. All mammals know about this. When you have the tool, of course, you will need a toolbox. Russia is teaming with ESA to build a permanent Moon base. There’s no need to fight for water on the Moon. Just send it from the Earth. A parcel from the Earth at Mach 100, slow but steady, will arrive at a receiving electromagnetic tube on the Moon, slowing down to a full stop, generating tremendous power on its way to brighten your day. Why bother? Don’t we already have enough sunny days on the Moon? No, you don’t understand. Real humans live a good life on Earth because they consume lots of power. To generate that much power on the Moon, you will need a very large solar panel power plant. It’s not easy to build anything that big in space. It’s still better to stick to what evolution has taught us: a shot a day keeps the doctor away, because laughter is the best medicine.

About Run Song

Run Song (宋闰) is my pen name for the Moments of Poetry, a collection of poems about the greatest moments of life. If photography captures the greatest moments of life, poetry is the life behind them.
